Many people suffer from an occasional nightmare.They usually wake up from sleep suddenly with fear or terror often with a scream.They feel confused and it is very difficult to calm them down.Some common causes of nightmares can be listed as axtreme exhaustion,fever or illness,stress pr anxiety,bad sleep schedule,some medications,and alcohol or drugs.We can control nightmares to a certain extent.We should try to reduce stress by getting lots of fresh air and physical exercise and following a healthy diet.We should keep to a regular sleep schedule.If these do not help,we should get some professional help from a psychologist.
